Current On-site Covid Policy

The church building is open for Sunday Worship (at 10:00 AM) and the Wednesday Diaper Bank (1st & 3rd Wednesday from 5:00-6:30 AM). All other on-site church events (meetings, studies, etc.) will be done through Zoom. The service will also be lived-streamed on our Youtube channel.

For Sunday Worship we ask people to practice social distancing and to wear masks when social distancing is not possible. The left three-quarters of the church is reserved from those who will wear masks throughout the service, while the right-side quarter section (near the choir loft) is for those who cannot wear masks for the entire service.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or need assistance with anything, please contact Pastor Doug. Your prayers and patience during these troubling times are greatly appreciated.

Because of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, and the Governor’s order to limit all worship gatherings to under 50, we are extending our close-down policy through June 20th. All activities at the church are therefore canceled, with the exception of the Diaper Bank which will be opened on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30 PM.

Though the church doors will be open on Sunday we recommend that everyone stay home and watch the Sunday worship service live-streamed on the church’s youtube channel. The service will also be linked to our Facebook page.

We have increased our online content which includes:
* Pastor Doug’s Wednesday Night Study from 7:00-8:30 PM via zoom. (If you are interested email him at: )
* Pastor Doug is uploading daily content on his youtube channel “Simply Reformed.”
* Pastor Dan is also offering a study via zoom ( and has updated his webpage.

Several parishioners have asked if the church could set up online giving. As for now, we are asking people to either mail in your offering check (800 Main St.; Winsted, CT 06098) or for those who use online banking you can have your bank send a check from your account. Finally, to reduce the amount checks Carol needs to handle you could combine a few weeks giving into one check.

I hope everyone is safe.
Christ’s grace to you all.
In Christ,
Pastor Doug
